However, the app processes certain data for authentication, cloud storage, and analytics to improve functionality and user experience.

2.1 Apple Sign In
The app requires Apple Sign In for authentication:
• We do not have access to your full Apple ID details. 
• Only the Apple-provided unique identifier is processed for login  purposes.
• The app does not collect or request email addresses.

2.2 iCloud Storage
Your data related to food products, including user-uploaded images, is stored in iCloud.
• This allows for seamless backup and synchronization across devices.
• The data remains private to your Apple ID and is not accessed by us.

2.3 Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data through Google Analytics for Firebase to improve the app. This may include:
• Device model name (for detecting multi-device usage)
• Operating system version
• Time and duration of app usage
• Features accessed within the app
• Anonymized IP address

2.4 Apple Health Integration
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app can write food-related data (such as nutrition values) to the Health app.
• The app does not read or retrieve any data from Apple Health.
• Apple Health data is stored only in the Health app on your device and is managed by Apple.
• We do not access, collect, or store your Health data on our servers.

The app uses the following third-party services, which may collect and process certain data:

5. DATA RETENTION & USER CONTROL  
• Your food and nutrition data is stored in your iCloud account and can be managed or deleted via your Apple device settings.
• You can also delete all stored app data directly in the app using the built-in data deletion feature.
• If you have connected Apple Health, any data shared with the Health app remains in Apple Health and must be deleted through the Health app settings on your device.
• We do not retain any personal data on our servers.
• If you wish to delete all associated app data, you may do so by removing the app and clearing data in iCloud settings.

6. SPECIAL NOTICE FOR USERS IN FRANCE 
In compliance with App Store requirements for France:
• The app stores food-related data in iCloud, linked to your Apple ID.
• You can delete your stored data via iCloud settings on your device.
• No personally identifiable information is collected or stored.

7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY 
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
